“E-waste” covers a lot more than computers. Servers, monitors, TVs, networking gear, cables, and even lab and medical electronics all count — and all of it needs to go somewhere responsible when it reaches end of life. Arizona Computer Recycling serves as the e-waste center for Surprise, AZ residents and businesses, accepting a far wider range of equipment than a typical computer recycler.
What Counts as E-Waste
Beyond desktops and laptops, we process:
- Servers and networking equipment (switches, routers, racks)
- Monitors and TVs (when paired with at least one computer or laptop per TV)
- Printers, copiers, and office electronics
- Cables, chargers, and peripherals
- Lab and testing equipment with electronic components
- Phones, tablets, and other consumer electronics

Data Security for Servers and Networked Equipment
Servers and networking gear often hold more sensitive data than a single laptop. Every device that could hold data is wiped using certified software or physically destroyed if it can’t be wiped, with R2 and RIOS certified documentation available for businesses that need it.
What We Don’t Take
A couple of exceptions: TVs are only accepted alongside at least one computer or laptop per TV, and we don’t take medical devices or kitchen appliances.
Responsible Processing, Not Export
Unlike some e-waste haulers, we process everything locally at our Peoria facility and never export e-waste overseas. Functional equipment is tested and resold or donated; everything else is recycled responsibly.
